Will a smart lock fit my door?
Most standard exterior doors with a deadbolt can fit a smart deadbolt. Doors with mortise locks, unusual thicknesses or non-standard holes may need a specific model or extra work.
Are smart locks good for vacation rentals?
Yes. Unique guest codes mean no key handoffs or lost keys, and many models let you add and remove codes remotely.
What happens if the batteries die?
Most smart locks warn you well before the batteries run out, and many have a backup key or a way to power the lock from outside.
Can the backup key match my other locks?
Many models with a key cylinder can be rekeyed to match your other locks. We’ll check your model.
