Home lockouts

The fastest safe way back inside

Whether the door locked behind you, a key broke in the lock, or your keys are simply gone, a locksmith is the fastest safe option. Breaking a window or forcing a door usually costs more to fix than the lockout itself.

We open most residential locks by picking or decoding them, so the lock keeps working normally afterward. If your keys were lost or stolen, we can rekey the lock right away so the old keys no longer work.

What we handle

  • Front and back door lockouts
  • Deadbolts and knob locks
  • Sliding patio doors
  • Garage entry doors
  • Broken key removal
  • Rekeying if keys are lost or stolen

If someone is in danger

If a child, a vulnerable adult or a pet is locked inside, or there’s a medical emergency, call 911 right away.

FAQ

House lockout questions

Have another question? Call or text (239) 412-2998.

Will you have to drill my lock?

Rarely. We pick or decode the lock first. Drilling is a last resort, such as with a broken or high-security lock, and we’ll explain it and confirm the price before doing it.

What do I need to show you?

A photo ID with the property address, or another document such as a lease, utility bill or mail with your name and address. For rentals, we can also confirm with the landlord or property manager.

I rent. Should I call my landlord first?

If your landlord or property manager can let you in quickly, that’s often easiest. If not, we can help. Some leases have rules about changing locks, so check before rekeying.

Can you rekey the lock after opening it?

Yes. If your keys were lost or stolen, we can rekey the lock on the same visit so the old keys stop working.
